Linguistic analysis of introductory texts from Letras programs’ websites

چکیده
This research aimed at analyzing the Universities’ discourse used to describe undergraduate program of Letras in their websites. To pursue this objective, analysis delved into three textual descriptions from private universities and focused on Fairclough’s CDA Halliday’ SFL. The results indicated that most recurrent processes are Material, placing students a powerful position text 1 institution 3, Relational, identifying more influential place. Furthermore, there is tendency all texts present less academic marketized presentation .
